Mum guilt—a recurring sentiment I find myself grappling with as I navigate the complexities of parenthood.
Undoubtedly, the fear of the unknown looms large in parenting:
Am I providing them with the appropriate nourishment?
Is it acceptable to extend their bedtime?
Do I compromise my beliefs by enrolling them in a school I’m uncertain about?
How much screen time is permissible?
The inquiries seem endless.
Yet, amidst these uncertainties lies an awareness of the profound impact of both major and minor traumas—what I refer to as ‘big T’ and ‘little t’. Sensitivity to these experiences often translates into heightened emotional responses within parenting dynamics.
Whether the trauma is significant or seemingly trivial, its ramifications on emotional well-being are undeniable, manifesting in subtle yet profound ways.
Becoming a parent often triggers reflections on one’s own childhood, unearthing both positive and negative memories that shape our parenting behaviours and beliefs.
To address these emotional burdens, I offer transformative therapy, providing a safe space for processing, release, and growth:
Nurturing the inner child to foster resilience and emotional strength.
Challenging and transforming limiting beliefs and patterns.
Reprogramming subconscious responses to past experiences, fostering healthier reactions to present challenges
And so much more…
